Did
you spot the fact that if the king of hearts is offside,
you are going to be tapped out of trumps before you can set
up a tenth trick in clubs?
If
you finesse hearts again, losing to the king, West plays
a second spade, tapping you down to two trumps. After drawing
the last trump, you have only one trump left, but need to
lead clubs twice.
The
correct line after the 9 of hearts wins is to lead a heart
to the ace! If trumps are 3-2, you don't care where the king
is. You just go about your business of leading clubs, setting
up a club trick while you still have control. And if East
held four hearts to the king, you probably had no chance
anyway.
Notice
that West could have won the first round of hearts and led
another spade. But then you would ruff and attack clubs before
pulling trumps. With clubs 3-3, there's nothing they could
do to you.
Have
a nice weekend!
