The correct answer is pass. Though it's a good
idea to overcall
a
strong four-card suit at the one
level, doing it with a stack
in the
opener's suit
can easily backfire. Here the overcall got
West
to 4 doubled,
down four, when the opponents'
4 contract had
zero play.
Switch
West's suits around and make his hand:

Now
4 is a great contract and 4 is laydown in
the other
direction.
