is the recommended approach for opening a hand with a six-card
minor suit and a five-card major? I held AKxxxx of diamonds,
AQxxx of spades and Qx of hearts and opened a diamond and
bid spades twice. My partner passed me out in three spades
(with a void) while six diamonds was cold. He had been
told that you open the major first. |
