- BIDDING WITH PAUL SOLOWAY - $39
LEVEL: BEGINNER
This
course explains how to bid a bridge hand, starting with the basic
concepts and developing into bidding sequences with your partner. Paul
Soloway, one of our all-time great players, uses the point-count method
and the most popular Standard American system, but tempers it with
bidding judgment.
Where are your highcard points? Are they good points or bad points?
How does the
auction change the value of your hand? By the conclusion
of the course, the student
should be able to sit at the bridge
table with
any partner and bid with proficiency. This is another excellent refresher
course.

COUNTING WITH EDDIE KANTAR- $39
LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE
This
course, by America's favorite bridge teacher,
is the first of its kind.
To play a bridge hand, you must become a counter -- counting high card
points in the opponents's hands and counting the cards played in each
suit may seem like a difficult task. But Kantar makes it look easy! Learn
to form a mental picture of the hands and you'll become a declarer that
your partners will be proud of.
This course is a great confidence booster as well, because once you
startcounting, all the other declarer play concepts become easier.

- COMPETITIVE BIDDING AND THE LAW WITH LARRY COHEN -
$39 LEVEL: ADVANCED
Competitive
bidding means that all four players are competing for
the contract. At a crucial point in the auction, you must decide
whether to bid again or let the opponents buy the contract.
This course is about this crucial point. Larry Cohen, a 10-time
National Champion, teaches the theory and application of the
most exciting bridge aid since point-count bidding: The Law of
Total Tricks. Cohen begins from scratch, explaining the theory,
and then tests you with quizzes to demonstrate how to apply the
idea in various competitive bidding situations.
