In this great hand from the past (early 1930's),
the late Lee Hazen of New York was East. As a
young lawyer, he suspected everything, especially
South's 10 of spades play. So he played low.
Declarer next tried the ace and king of clubs,
but Hazen refused to ruff. South simply couldn't
get rid of his two club losers.
