This hand took place two months ago in a
tournament in Sydney, Australia. On the
second round of trump West threw the 7.

South was planning to play ace, king and
another spade, ruffing. But when he saw the
7, he figured no one would throw a spade
from the queen. So he finessed to the jack.
Down two!
