A popular tournament convention is to play the
same response structure after a 1NT overcall
as you do after a 1NT opening bid. This is a
faulty convention when you make a direct 1NT
overcall, because you really prefer the opening
bidder, the stronger opponent, on opening lead
- he's more likely to lose a trick with his lead
than his partner, who is leading up to him.

After a direct 1NT overcall, play:

2 of a new suit = natural to play
cuebid = Stayman
3 of a new suit = invitational

On today's hand, your partner can score 90 in
1NT, but you have 130 available in a club partscore.
