This hand was played in a high-stake rubber
bridge game in London. South did well to
removed 7 to 7NT, because the club lead
from East (directed by the double) will set 7.

But after West led a heart against 7NT, declarer
played low from dummy. This would be right
when West held four hearts to the queen. But
he didn't.

My tip is this: Unless you're very sure, don't
put all your eggs in one basket. It was possible
that West had led a heart from queen-fourth,
but it's also possible that I'll win the next
million-dollar lottery. Please contact me if I do.
