You're missing only four cards to the jack and ten. If
the
suit is
2-2 or 3-1, it doesn't matter how you play
it - just cash
your three
honors. If the suit is 4-0, and
West has four of them,
you can't do
anything about it,
and you must lose a trick. But if East
has four to
the
jack-ten, you can take five tricks by leading first
to
the queen
in dummy. You'll see West show out. Then
you'll know to
take a double
finesse through the jack
and ten. If East splits, you go
back to
dummy for a
second finesse.
