You should play for a 3-2 split, with West holding K-10-x
or Q-10-x. First lead to the 9 (if West follows with a spot
card). After this loses to the queen or king, next time lead
low to the jack if West follows with the 10. In the diagram
shown, you would be unlucky to lose two tricks, but West
is more likely to hold K-10-x or Q-10-x than 10-x-x.
