There's nothing certain in this world, but it usually
pays to bid a six-card spade suit even if it has to
be at the four-level, like in this auction. This time
you might score up 790. If South leads two rounds
of hearts, you ruff, lead the queen of spades and
another spade to the king if necessary, and
eventually finesse in diamonds.

South might defeat 4 by shifting to a club at trick
two. You can still do it, if you guess the distribution:
Finesse twice in diamonds and then lead a trump to
your hand; after you win the first round of trump, play
the diamond ace and ruff the fourth diamond. In any
case, they are cold for four hearts.
